Van and Eric are both to be commended for being the Rebels they are ! The Music is sweet and the stand even stronger ! Some excellent gritty Blues in the mix too.

i m a long time Van fan - and i have never enjoyed ANY album more so than quenches my thirst for “intelligent - critical thinking - conversation”....... and at the same time leads me “to where the healing waters flow”.....priceless!!......thank God for the blues...and Van Morrison

OOOoooohhhh Belfast cowboy- how could anyone not love the Band, Richard Manuel, OOOhhhhh Richard- who has got the joker- is this poker? no one goes backward from there but the critics- a bunch of fools. I can't review the whole work yet but I can give it 5 stars from the 1st LP alone, and reading the heavyweight lyric book. At first I ordered the CD from a local Florida shop, nothing came- i got a refund. So glad for a second chance- I got the vinyl. call and repeat- Have you got my Latest Record Project ??????? even that is pure Van Morrison genius. I only see it getting better from there. Thanks Van-- forever

Van the Man! Musically, this is his best work since the 60s & 70s in my opinion. Lyrically, not as poetic and spiritual as usual, but that's ironically refreshing considering the majority of his subject matter on this record. After a year+ of media spin and political bs from our "experts", straightforward lyrics are necessary in "these unprecedented times." Van has been criticized for his common sense ability to see through the lies and I admire his boldness to speak out. In fact, just like his song, "Where Have All The Rebels Gone", I find myself shocked that a man in his 70s is the only one with enough dignity to speak truth to authority. Is everyone else spineless or brainwashed? It's ironic that an artist who tried to distance himself from a rock-n-roll label is the only one left with a rock-n-roll attitude. Love record and I love this guy!

Van, I love you like a brother, a father and an Uncle. Saw your recent live show and you floored me. Much respect to you and the band. This album project you put out is yet another silver lining in all this madness. Proud of you for everything you stand for. A woman at your Miami show yelled out ‘ I love you Van !’ to which you replied ‘ ya just gotta get to know me ‘ I smiled as big as you did sitting with John Lee by the river. It’s a privilege to hear you. Thank you...for everything. Lou Pinto, Toronto

WOW. This guy is 75 years old?? His voice hasn't change since my last favorite album he put out in 1997 (The Healing Game). In fact, his singing is stellar. These 28 songs are best served alone when one can study the subtle, multi-layered lyrics. At first listen I heard some standard sounding R&B and blues executed perfectly, which is nice. However, upon repeated listens, I am blown away at the depth of this man's worldview which happens to run contrary to 99% of what most people hear day to day. I am REFRESHED and INSPIRED to hear an artist rebel against group-think and conformity. Just read the online mainstream reviews and you'll know immediately that Van has hit a nerve. The sheeple will sheep, but I am grateful there is still an artist willing to ask questions and make me think about the world in which I live. Musically the band is top-notch. The background singers are a delight. This 2-cd set is a MASTERPIECE on many levels. VIVA VAN

Listened to it from start to finish. Everyone has been given a way to communicate with others. For Van it is through music and he uses the art form beautifully!
